Definition

The traditions, arts, and social practices of a community. Taiwan preserves traditional Chinese culture (including the complex Traditional Chinese script, opera, festivals, and cuisine) that was disrupted on the mainland during the Cultural Revolution (1966–76). Taiwan's National Palace Museum holds one of the world's greatest collections of Chinese art.
