數位化

The process of converting information and processes into digital format. Taiwan uses 數位化 rather than mainland's 數字化 for digitalization. Taiwan has undergone rapid digitalization with a sophisticated digital economy and e-government infrastructure. Taiwan's Digital Minister Audrey Tang (唐鳳) gained global attention for innovative digital governance and civic technology initiatives. Taiwan's digital democracy tools (vTaiwan) are internationally recognized models.
