Sathya (సత్యం) = Truth, Honesty

— pillar of Indian dharma. సత్యమేవ జయతే ("Truth alone triumphs") — National Motto India, from Mundaka Upanishad 6.34. Mahabharata core: Yudhishthira (Dharmaraja) never told lie until "Ashvatthama" half-truth in Kurukshetra; consequence — chariot wheels touched ground (lost divine boon).
