Weltanschauung

A comprehensive personal or cultural framework of beliefs, values, and assumptions through which one interprets the world. The concept is central to German idealist philosophy, particularly in Kant and Hegel. Different Weltanschauungen — religious, scientific, political — shape how societies organize themselves and approach ethical questions.
