enumeration
English meaning: Enumeration
English Definition
(English)Enumeration means mentioning things one by one in a systematic list. In constitutional law, the enumeration of legislative powers specifies which levels of government can legislate on which subjects. The Residuary Powers clause (Article 248) gives Parliament power over subjects not enumerated in the State List — a feature distinguishing India's federalism from the USA's.
English Definition
