(සිංහල)සාහිත්යය යනු ශාශ්වත කලාත්මක වටිනාකමෙහි ලිඛිත කෘතිය. සිංහල සාහිත්ය සම්ප්රදාය මහාවංශය (5 වැනි සියවස ක්රි.ව.) හා සිගිරිය ශිලා ලිවීම (5-8 සියවස) සමග ශ්රේෂ්ඨ ලෙස ම ඈතට දිව යයි.
English Definition
