書法

The art of beautiful handwriting, considered one of the highest art forms in Chinese culture. Taiwan has preserved the tradition of calligraphy using Traditional Chinese characters (繁體字), which display more complex and historically authentic stroke patterns than Simplified characters. Calligraphy competitions and exhibitions remain popular in Taiwan, and the art is taught in schools as part of cultural heritage education.
