Definition
The ability to meet present needs without compromising future generations' needs. Thailand's Sufficiency Economy Philosophy (SEP) — developed by the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej — advocates moderation, reasonableness, and self-immunity as principles for sustainable development. SEP has been promoted to the UN as a development model.
