智是儒家五常之一,指明辨是非的能力和道德判断力,是个人修养和治国理政的重要品质。

English Definition

One of the Five Constant Virtues (五常) of Confucianism, meaning wisdom, moral knowledge, and discernment. Zhi enables one to distinguish right from wrong and to act morally. In Chinese culture, wisdom is prized both for practical governance and personal self-cultivation.
